The Explorers' Journey
A 3 day journey initially climbing over a ridge to the Home Creek valley and down sloping land to the Goulburn River (10th of the trip) at Molesworth.
Their camps were on Home Creek 2 mile N of Yarck on Dec 2, the Goulburn River / Home Creek delta on Dec 3 and the Muddy (Yea River) Creek, 1 mile south of Yea where they stayed for the two nights of Dec 4 & 5 repairing their clothes and shoes and resting their animals on good grass. The bike route mostly follows their trek and certainly if the alternate route via Growlers Gully Rd is taken.
